TEHRAN – Iraq’s senior officials are going to attend President Hassan Rouhani's swearing-in ceremony on August 5, Iran’s envoy in Baghdad said.

According to Iraj Masjedi, Iraqi President Fuad Masum, Iraq’s Chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council Ammar Hakim and Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jabouri are expected to attend the event, IRNA reported.

Over 100 foreign delegations, including heads of state and other top officials, are scheduled to participate in Rouhani's oath-taking ceremony.
